Why should I track?

Being mindful of how much you eat, move, and whether you're gaining, losing, or maintaining your weight, helps you see your progress more clearly.

It also helps you gain insight into patterns, which is key for making sustainable change.

Where should I track?

Right in the WeightWatchers app - it makes tracking really simple.

It's a fast and easy way to keep track of your Points® as you use them, and track your weight and activity too.

What did you have for breakfast this morning? Start by tracking that!

On your My Day screen (what you see when you open the app) tap 'Breakfast'. Search for a food and check the options that display. Click the one you want, adjust the serving size and tap 'Track'.

You can save meals to track them faster next time. When you track Breakfast, you'll see these under 'Frequent breakfasts'.

How to track foods that have Points

  • On the home screen in the WW app, type a food into the search bar (for example, “chicken”).

  • Hit Search and select the food you want to track, then add the serving size and meal time.

  • Click 'Track Food.' Done!

Want an even faster way to track? Scan the nutrition label of any packaged food with the barcode scanner in the WW app.
